The Women In News (WIN) Future Leaders Initiative is a basic component of the WIN programme. Around 300-350 young women will benefit from in- classroom training in leadership, presentation and blogging skills. Through the WIN Future Leaders programme, WIN WAN-IFRA will run training courses in the area of presentation skills, communications and advocacy tactics to university students, drawn from the local communities.

A total of 10-15 young women from each country will be accepted into the WIN Future Leaders Programme on an annual basis, benefiting from training sessions in 3-5 topics. These courses will be led by participants of the Women in News programme and tied to the WIN National Gatherings.
