Advanced Module B: Revenue Incubator

Media organisations face an undeniable challenge in forging lucrative alternative revenue streams. However, the path to success lies in bold experimentation, which often requires significant financial investment – a risk that many organisations are hesitant to take. WAN-IFRA WIN will support this by offering relevant capacity building.

Revenue Incubator would combine training and coaching focusing on helping media managers, editors, and digital managers develop and execute effective strategies for monetising digital products. 

Objectives: 

  • Equip advisory partners with the knowledge and skills required to develop and implement effective digital strategies that drive the monetisation of digital products, leading to sustainable revenue generation and business growth
  • Provide tangible benefits to partner media organisations by levering the practical tools within the modules, such as digital maturity tracker, Business Strategy planner, SMART goals

Programme Timeline and structure: 

  • Media organisations must complete the application form, and 20 media organisations will be selected.
  • Each selected media organisation can nominate up to 3 participants.
  • The programme will be conducted over 6 months (September 2024 to February 2025).
  • The first 2 months (September to October) will consist of 5 lessons and 4 webinars 
  • After the lessons, the top 5 projects will be selected. These projects will receive 4 Business Coaching sessions with media business coaches over three active months (November 2024, January 2025, and February 2025)
