WAN-IFRA’s Women in News program inaugurated its third year in the Middle East and North Africa during a National Gathering, organized on Wednesday December 13, 2017. The program’s participants and media executives including WIN Steering Committee member Assem El Bassal, Nour El Zeny, Ihab El Zalaky and Mona Salman attended the National gathering and engaged in a discussion on the future of media and journalism in Egypt and around the world. The event was also attended by the program’s regional director Fatemah Farag and Egypt’s coordinator Tamer El Mahdy.
The National Gathering took place at Garden City club in Cairo. Certificates of media management training certified by the American University in Cairo were given to previous years’ participants during the event.
