WAN-IFRA’s Women in News program inaugurated its third year in the Middle East and North Africa during a National Gathering, organized in collaboration with Al Ghad newspaper in Jordan. The program’s participants and media executives attended the National gathering, that was also attended by the program’s Steering Committee members Jumana Ghunaimat from Jordan and Assem Al Bassal from Egypt, the program’s regional director Fatemah Farag, National Coach in Egypt Fatma Kheir and Jordan’s coordinator Samar Haddadin.
The National Gathering took place at Wild Jordan restaurant on December 4. Certificates of media management training certified by the American University in Cairo were given to previous years’ participants during the event.
