Middle Eastern Women in the Media: A Battle Against Stereotypes – Al Jazeera: A Case Study (English)

The publication by the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism offers an overview of how Middle Eastern women and their issues are portrayed in the different media, whether in the Middle East or in the West. The study then takes Al-Jazeera as an example and compiles an extensive research into how the network is treating women’s issues and whether or not they’re breaking the stereotypes, comparing both the Arabic and the English language channels.
